I just wanted to send a quick note today to let you know that my new book, Rethink Work formally launched today on Amazon, Indigo Books, Chapters, airports, and other outlets. It has been about a year and a half in the making and finally, it is available!
Originally I thought this book was going to be a tool. I thought it was going to be a chip I could leave on the table as my long-form business card and cheaper-than-a-speaking engagement item that would still get my points across. What I didn’t expect though, is everything that has come from it. The Financial Post called it one of the top four personal finance and economic books of 2016, it managed to convince the Globe and Mail that I wasn’t totally out to lunch, and has lead to articles and interviews with Forbes, Thrive Global, Inc., Huffington Post, and many others. All this happened before it had even officially launched.
Rethink Work is intended to be optimistic, forward-thinking, and empowering for those who are looking for a job, to change jobs, find happiness in the work they are doing, or bringing people into their workplace and promoting a harmonized culture. It is a result of every conversation I’ve had in my short 24 (at the time of writing) years, and couldn’t have been done without the help of my network. Thank you.
I believe that we can remove the negative connotation associated with work, that we can rehumanize the work experience, and that we can enjoy the one thing we do more than anything else in a day – work. I have made it my personal mission, my responsibility, to spread this message.
If you’re interested in reading the book, I ask that you please pick it up from Amazon today. With enough sales volume, the book has a real possibility of being a best seller. If you feel that others would enjoy the read, please feel free to share this with them!
